ActorOS Terms of Service

Effective 10 September 2026 · Issued by Rudraayaan AI Technologies Private Limited (CIN U62011TS2026PTC216546), Krishna Nagar Colony, Ameenpur, Medak, Telangana 502032, India — operator of the ActorOS mobile application.

These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Rudraayaan AI Technologies Private Limited (“we”, “us”, “ActorOS”) covering your use of the ActorOS app and any related services. By creating an account or using the app, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

How we handle your personal data is covered separately in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

1. Who may use ActorOS

ActorOS is for adults aged 18 and over only. You may not create an account if you are under 18. You must give accurate registration details and keep them current. One person, one account — accounts may not be shared, sold or transferred.

ActorOS serves two kinds of user: Talent(performers listing themselves) and Finders(casting and hiring professionals searching for talent). Some features are available only to one of these roles.

You may not create or operate an account on behalf of a person under 18, whether as a parent, guardian, relative, agent, manager or in any other capacity, and you may not list, represent, promote or submit a person under 18 on ActorOS. There is no guardian-managed account and no minors’ tier. Where a profile is published, a date of birth is required, and a date of birth indicating an age under 18 is refused by our systems. Our full standards are in the Child Safety and Child Sexual Exploitation Prevention Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

2. What ActorOS does — and does not — promise

ActorOS is a discovery platform. We help profiles be found and let Finders make contact. We are not a talent agency, a manager, an employer, or a party to any engagement you agree with another user.

  • We do not guarantee auditions, casting, work, payment, visibility, or any particular outcome.
  • We do not vet, endorse, or verify users, the opportunities they post, or the claims they make. Do your own checks before sharing information, travelling or accepting work.
  • We do not handle fees, wages, or contracts between users. Anything you agree with another user is between the two of you.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, videos, showreels, text and other material you upload (“your content”). You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, resize and display your content strictly to operate the service — for example showing your profile in search results to Finders inside the app.

Publishing a profile makes part of it public on the open web. While your profile is live, ActorOS serves a page at app.actoros.in/p/your-handle that anyone can open without an account, and that search engines may index. Your handle, talent type, gender, age, city, state, languages and skills appear there; your name, photographs, bio and contact details do not. Privacy Policy, section 3 lists the split field by field and is the authoritative version. Editing a live profile republishes it.

You confirm that, for everything you upload:

  • you own it or have permission to use it;
  • everyone identifiable in it is an adult and has agreed to appear on a public talent profile;
  • it does not infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights.

This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep to meet a legal obligation. Deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Rules of use

You agree not to:

  • impersonate anyone, or post a profile for a person who has not agreed to it;
  • upload sexual, obscene, hateful, violent, defamatory or unlawful material, or anything featuring a minor;
  • use the app to harass, threaten, defraud or spam another user, or to solicit anything unlawful;
  • scrape, bulk-download, resell or republish profiles or contact details, or use automated tools against the service;
  • attempt to bypass access controls, rate limits, paywalls or security measures, or probe our systems without written permission;
  • post opportunities that demand payment from Talent to be considered, or that are misleading about the work involved.

You further agree not to host, display, upload, publish, transmit, store, update or share anything that:

  • is child sexual abuse material, sexualises a person under 18, or is otherwise harmful to a child — including material that is drawn, edited, computer-generated or otherwise synthesised;
  • grooms or solicits a person under 18, or seeks sexual contact, images or performances from one;
  • relates to trafficking in persons, forced labour or any other exploitation, including where it is presented as casting, audition or portfolio work;
  • is obscene, paedophilic, or invasive of another’s privacy, including bodily privacy;
  • is insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, or is racially or ethnically objectionable;
  • impersonates another person, or is knowingly false or misleading in a way calculated to deceive — including artificially generated or manipulated media presented as genuine;
  • infringes a patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary right;
  • contains a software virus or other code designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer resource;
  • threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States, or public order, or incites the commission of an offence;
  • is otherwise unlawful under any law for the time being in force.

Reporting. To report a profile, message, post or casting opportunity, use the report option on the item inside the app, or email support@actoros.in with “Report” in the subject line, naming the @handle and what you saw. Anything involving a person under 18 should go to the child safety report form, which needs no account, or to support@actoros.in marked “CHILD SAFETY REPORT”. Those reports are handled ahead of every other queue under the Child Safety Policy. Do not attach suspected child sexual abuse material to a report.

Grievances. Complaints about content, about another user, or about how we handled a report may be made to our Grievance Officer, whose name and contact details are published in Privacy Policy, section 14, together with the timelines we hold ourselves to.

5. Contact between users

Contact details are shared only where you have consented to it. A Finder’s request to reach you does not oblige you to respond, and you can withdraw contact-sharing consent at any time in the app — after which your details are no longer released to new requests.

6. PRO features and payment

The app has a free tier and a PRO tier that unlocks additional discovery features. In this release there is no purchase inside the app, and no payment is taken through the mobile application.

In this release PRO is granted free of charge, by promotional code, at our discretion. No fee is charged for PRO anywhere— not in the app, and not outside it. Where PRO is granted for a period, it runs to the end of that period. We may change the features in each tier; if a change materially reduces what an active PRO period includes, we will tell you.

7. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep ActorOS available, but the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We may add, change, suspend or withdraw features, and may need to take the service down for maintenance.

8. Enforcement, suspension and termination

8.1 Leaving. You may stop using ActorOS at any time and can delete your account from within the app (Settings → Danger Zone → Delete account). Your profile is unpublished immediately and the permanent deletion runs 30 days later, during which you can cancel it. What is removed, what is kept, and the narrow circumstances in which deletion is deferred are set out on Delete your account.

8.2 Our rights. Where we reasonably believe that these Terms, the Child Safety Policy or applicable law have been breached, or that a user or a child is at risk, we may, to the extent permitted by applicable law and in our reasonable discretion:

  • remove, restrict or make inaccessible any content;
  • unpublish a public profile page, or decline to generate one;
  • restrict specific features, including messaging and search visibility;
  • suspend an account, temporarily or pending review;
  • terminate an account;
  • decline to provide the service to the same person in future, and restrict other accounts we reasonably believe are operated by or on behalf of that person, where doing so is lawful;
  • preserve records where required or permitted by applicable law, or where reasonably necessary in connection with an actual or anticipated investigation, proceeding or claim;
  • cooperate with, and disclose information to, a court, police authority or other competent authority, and comply with an order or lawful direction binding on us.

8.3 Without prior notice where necessary. Where a report is credible on its face we may act before completing our review. Such a step is precautionary and is not a finding against you. Where it is lawful and practical to do so, we will tell you why.

8.4 Appeals. You may ask us to review an enforcement decision by writing to support@actoros.in within 30 days, and you may raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer (Privacy Policy, section 14). The procedure is set out in Child Safety Policy, section 16.

8.5 What an enforcement decision is not. A decision we take under this section is a decision about the use of our service under this agreement. It is not a criminal charge, a conviction, or any judicial determination, and it does not establish that any person has committed an offence. ActorOS does not determine criminal guilt. Where we consider that conduct may be unlawful we may refer it to a competent authority; whether an offence has been committed is for that authority and the courts, not for us.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost opportunity, or loss arising from another user’s conduct, from an engagement you enter into through the platform, or from content you chose to make public. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we make material changes we will update the effective date above and, where required, ask you to accept them again in the app. Continuing to use ActorOS after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Telangana, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any right you have to bring a claim elsewhere under applicable consumer law.
